CONFESSIONS TO dEUS (2021)

The rockumentary “Confessions to dEUS” (83 minutes), follows the band and their entourage during the 20-year European anniversary tour of their major international breakthrough album “The ideal crash”. The film, which has been edited like a true rock and roll roller coaster shows a compilation of concert footage, life on tour, archive and fan confessions.
After each concert, a “confessional” was set up: a place where fans could voluntarily take a seat and chat with filmmaker / therapist Fleur Boonman. Vulnerably honest the fans confess about the remarkable connections between their personal lives and the record’s lyrics. Twenty years of emotional testimonies as a sacrifice to these modern gods: dEUS.
